BP Works to Fix Valve Leak Before Choking Oil Flow

bp.oilBritish Petroleum engineers have made some progress testing the new containment system that could finally stop the oil leak that has been spilling into the Gulf of Mexico for three months.
On Wednesday, they halted the test after discovering a small leak on the side of the newly installed containment cap.
BP has begun critical testing on its ruptured well in hopes that it will lead to stopping the gusher.

Believing in the exclusivity of Christ is not arrogant, says pastor

"In a context where there is no truth but only truths, no principles but only preferences, we face the challenge of being regarded as arrogant for proclaiming Jesus," says a Cleveland, Ohio, pastor.

Dr Alistair Begg, who is senior pastor of Parkside Church and hosts "Truth for Life" radio, was answering the question "Is the exclusivity of Christ unjust?" when he made the statement.

He spoke to some 4,000 people at Ligonier Ministries' national conference in Orlando, Florida. The theme of the June 17-19 event was "Tough Questions Christians Face".

Indonesia's 'Religious Revolution'

BANDA ACEH, Indonesia-- Indonesia has the world's largest Muslim population and nowhere is Islam more devoutly followed than in the province of Aceh.

Last year, a bill was introduced there allowing adulterers, homosexuals and other religious offenders to be put to death by stoning. But the strict and often harsh Islamic practices have young Indonesians questioning their faith.

Spotting the 'Un-Islamic'

Anis Saleh, 17, was dropping his sister off to work when he was stopped at a security checkpoint manned by a group of religious police officers.

World Cup Games Opportunity for the Gospel

Christian Koreans Pray for Unity Between North, South

SEOUL, South Korea - A stadium that usually holds thousands of soccer fans was filled for a prayer rally this week in South Korea.

The event commemorated the 60th anniversary of the Korean War, but was also held to pray about tensions between North and South Korea following the sinking of a South Korean warship in March.
