It's time now to give your opinion on our new website! I (the 700 Club webmaster) have had a vision for a new website for quite a while - to make it more up to date and in tune with current developments in the media and world. A site that would not only be appealing for the eye, but would be interactive, inviting, fresh and offering up to date features to communicate with our partners.
At first, we launched a new site last year - which was kind of a replication of the CBN.com website - which is aimed at US visitors. We started to take a lot of content from the CBN.com site - and mirrored it on the UK site. However, we knew this was only temporary as we wanted to create our own content, suitable for UK and European visitors.
Now, with the newest website (the one you are now looking at), we have not replicated any material from CBN.com, but rather developed our own articles and content. OK, I hear you thinking: "But the CBN.com site is much more informative and has many more features and interesting content!". Well, that may be true indeed. And we do not keep you from visiting our US website at CBN.com - as it is great and ever - developing. We are on it ourselves quite a lot! But - consider that CBN.com has MANY contributors to make this happen. With many people working on the site, it is quite easy to get a large site up and running that is ever changing. However, in the UK, we only have 1 webmaster who maintains the whole site. (We would love to have more website staff in the future of course to increase the content and refresh rate!). So - there is the difference. And we intend to do it very well - with excellence. That is why we think 3 times before we publish something to the UK site - to ensure that the material is great and helpful to you.
